Installing Office 2010 on wine

Steps

1. Use PlayOnLinux for Office install (It downloads 1.5.x version of wine)
2. Change wine version from 1.5.x to latest – results in improved antialising
3. Install missing wingdng2.ttf and wingdng3.ttf
4. Under tab ‘Install Components’, install the following option in respective order:
   • ‘Microsoft Core Fonts’
   • ‘Disable Crash Dialog’ -> my personal favorite.
   • ‘FontSmoothRGB’ -> this one is exceptionally crucial.
   • LunaTheme -> it’s actually Royal Theme
   • ‘Tahoma’
5. Simulate Windows reboot. Select tab Wine -> Windows reboot.
